The Star 2 is produced by LML Limited and has been voted India's most successful scooter manufacturer producing thousands of classic lined scooters as part of a joint venture with its original manufacturer for several years. At the time LML were provided the appropriate tooling, technology and panel moulds based on the original series and variants. In reality, of these scooters were exported worldwide from the LML factory. Today LML Limited is standing alone to produce an in demand high quality product to many international markets including America, the UK and of course Italy where it has had great success.
The Star 2 which is the first of the series, has a unique design with classic curves and lines portraying that elegant Italian style which is now available in Australia at a price point which is affordable and appealing to the everyday commuter. With new technology that permits the scooter to respect Australian pollution regulations, the Star 2 is Australia’s first Eco friendly two-stroke scooter with technical improvements like clean burning reed valve engines and a modern catalysed exhaust system.
This 150cc single cylinder, two-stroke engine is air cooled with rotary distribution, 5 transfer ports, and reed valve induction and is capable of speeds of up to 100kmph and averaging 280 k from its 8 litre tank. The Star 2 has a trusty Italian disc brake system and original Italian components that makes it worth the title of a real classic scooter. Weighing in at a low 109k, the main structure is a pressed steel sheet that is unique to the Star 2 and has been cleverly engineered to deliver long lasting durability, Finished in a high gloss two pack paint offering a choice of 15 classic colours.
LML Australia will be providing a 12 month’s parts and labour warranty and a full service offering with all warranty and spare parts available through the LML specialist dealer network. In addition LML Australia will be supplying a variety of custom accessories to personalise your Star 2 which have been manufactured especially for the Star 2.
